Every time Evie gets sick, I realize anew how lucky I was that Nile was never really ill. Within a week of her first cold, she started getting slightly fussy, and I noticed that she was pulling at her ears. I wasn't sure if she actually had ear troubles or if she'd just discovered her hair. After about a week of symptoms, I decided to go ahead and bring her to the PED to get checked out, and I'm glad I did. It turned out that she had an ear infection in her right ear. Poor baby girl! Doesn't she look so sad in this picture?
