One of my biggest regrets with Nile was that he passed away before he could really experience the Christmas season (although I thank God that he got to see a tree!). He died just a few days before I had already scheduled a day off to bring him to meet Santa and get pictures. Because of my regrets, I made sure that Evie was one of the first children in line when Santa came to the mall for pictures. In fact, she WAS the first child in line. She went to him without a fuss, and we got some great shots. The lady even let me take a few with my personal camera, which she isn't technically supposed to allow. Isn't she sweet?!
